Dr George K John a second year resident in Internal Medicine has been elected to the Johns Hopkins Chapter of Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA).
AOA is the national honorary society in medicine.
Each year, Johns Hopkins inducts a few of its very best residents and faculty into Alpha Omega Alpha.
This year, four outstanding people from Johns Hopkins Bay view were proposed and inducted into AOA.
You can see while most of these are faculty, he is a resident which makes him really talented and special.
George is also our Rhodes Scholar from batch 2003.
The names of those inducted this year are as follows

Dr. Khalil Ghanem is Associate Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases and is Deputy Director for Education in the Department of Medicine at Bayview.
Dr. Steve Sozio is Assistant Professor in the Division of Nephrology and is one of the faculty in the Colleges Advisory Program.
Dr. George John is a second-year resident in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview and is also a Rhodes Scholar.
Dr. Rafael Llinas is Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology at Bayview.
It is a great honor to be inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. Please join me in congratulating these four new inductees from our campus.

Sincerely,
David B. Hellmann, M.D., M.A.C.P.
